Many people would actually think that polar bears are not important, but everything in this world is important. For example, if polar bears didn't exist there would be a huge amount of seals, since their top predator are the polar bears. Also, they are the main animal from the arctic which makes it really important. Also, if polar bears are gone, people that live from selling their fur and meat will get poorer. Another thing is that when the oil spills into the ocean, it would make the food of these bears toxic, instantly killing the bear when they eat them, causing the population of bears decrease, creating a disbalance in their ecosystem. Also, the ice melting not only affects them, it affects everyone else, especially the people that live in the coasts, because the sea levels are going to rise, which will lead to an inundation and many coasts and small island will disappear.
